Pakoras are popular all over the world and are eaten as a snack, starter or accompaniment. This light batter mix can be used to make delicious vegetable pakoras or chicken pakoras. Made from chickpea flour flavoured with subtle spices. Full instructions on the pack.
Add a selection of parboiled drumsticks, okra, onions, potatoes, carrots or brinjal in any combination during cooking for a deliciously authentic addition to any meal.

Pakoras are chopped/sliced vegetables or chicken pieces deep fried in a lightly spiced fritter batter and are popular all over the world . They are eaten as a snack, starter or accompaniment. This light batter mix can be used to make delicious vegetable pakoras or chicken pakoras. Made from chickpea flour flavoured with subtle spices.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
1 Mix the contents of the pack with 200ml (7 fl oz) of water.
2 Stir into a smooth creamy batter and allow to stand for 5 minutes.
3 Slice potatoes, aubergine onions or whole fresh chillies and dip into the batter to coat evenly.
Alternatively slice small chicken pieces, fry quickly to seal, dip in the pakora batter and fry until golden brown. Test to ensure the chicken is cooked through and jucy.
4 Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown, drain on kitchen roll.
5 Serve hot with tomato sauce or chutney.
