Sambhar is a famous Southern Indian speciality from the Kerala region. Add water and vegetables of your choice and cook for 15-20 minutes for a delicious thin curried vegetable soup or serve with rice, idlis and naan bread. Add a selection of parboiled drumsticks, okra, onions, potatoes, carrots or brinjal in any combination during cooking for a deliciously authentic addition to any meal.
